Singer 247 Sewing Machine problem: The (drive?) shaft that comes out of the rear-mounted motor of my Singer 247 has a removable black plastic part at the end of the shaft that looks like an 'H' when looked at sideways or on 'O' when looked at when it is in place at the end of the shaft.
